Once upon a time, back in 1999 or so, I swore on KDE. I forget exactly when, but I think it was Gnome 2.2 that made my head snap. I haven't gone back since. KDE was stagnant and from what I can see, it's still trying too hard to be Windows. YUCK! Gnome combines originality with familiarity. Lurve it.
