Ingredients:
- 1 quart of plain yogurt
Directions:
- Set a colander on top of a large bowl and layer cheesecloth in the colander.
- Pour the yogurt on top of the cheesecloth and wrap the excess cloth over the yogurt.
- Place the bowl stack in the fridge over night.
- Discard the whey (liquid in bowl) and remove the yogurt cheese from the cheesecloth and store in a sealed container in your refrigerator.
To create a herbed or flavored yogurt cheese, simply mix the ingredients for the desired flavor into the yogurt before placing in the cheese cloth.
