Why?

Who?

Anybody can hold a GNOME 40 launch party, including user groups, FOSS communities, distro communities, universities, NGOs and companies.

Note: If you want to join an existing party it might be nice to contact the organizers by email so they know how many people to expect.

When?

GNOME 40 will be officially released on Wednesday, March 24, 2020, and around then is an ideal time to host a release party. We recommend having the party within about 2 weeks of the actual release day.
