Showing national boundaries is "complicated" in the same way that showing flags is. Eg, this map appears to show an outline of India that does not include all of the disputed parts of Kashmir. Regardless of whether or not that reflects the reality of what time zones are observed where, it may still conflict with Indian and Pakistani laws about maps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashmir_Conflict#Map_issues). (I'm sure the Chinese government could find something to be offended about on this map too.)
- "Find me and keep my location updated" and just below "You're in London": first and second person are mixed to refer to the user. I know that's always a mess, but first person is not really used anywhere in GNOME and sounds weird. So what about changing the first sentence to something like "Detect position and keep location updated"? It's also unclear whether automatically detecting location will change timezone. If so (which makes more sense), just say "Detect location and keep timezone updated". (Milan Bouchet-Valat)
