Home Media Sharing
Introduction
In cases where media and content is not shared in the cloud it is a somewhat common desire to share media and content between devices on a home network. This may be through a dedicated media server, or peer to peer sharing between devices. A device may be a content consumer, controller, or server.

Objectives
Primary
- To not interfere with the primary objectives of online sharing
 - Display and consume (view, play, read) media content from home media servers 
- Show photos in Photo app automatically
 
 - Send media content to a known media renderer/player 
- Display photos, videos on a TV
 - Print photos
 
 - Store media content on a known media server device 
- Store/import photos from an attached camera to the server
 - Automatically store new music purchases/dowloads on the server
 
 - Cache / download media content from a known media server device 
- Store photos for offline use on a laptop
 
 
Secondary
- Serve media content from the local device to devices on the home network
 
Non Goals
- Serve media content to all consumers on any network
