1. Things that should be done before doing a major release

• Check that RTL works everywhere (progressbars, hacks, whatever)
• Run the test suit with "make check-valgrind" until everything runs cleanly
• Test the different options. eg. what happens with a very large radius
• Maybe even check firefox and openoffice a little bit, if there is anything nasty that should be worked around.
