This page contains the information for building libpst package and activating the Pst import plugin for Evolution. This uses libpst version 0.6.17 for now. Will update the information later for later versions after integrating that piece into Evolution code.

Building Libpst

• Download the code for libpst in here

• Extract it out.

• Apply these two patches temp fix and shared_library_fix

• Follow the instructions in the README file.

Evolution

• Update the Evolution sources to rev 37078.
• Build them. No configure options needed as of now. Evolution would pick up the .pc file and build the plugin if the library is found.
