GSoC Update
Joseph had an action to post the five issues regarding the focus/caret tracker to the accessibility development list. He did so: discussion thread
- Joseph is rapdily converging on these conclusions:
- The tracker should not be a singleton, unless it's too costly to have multiple D-Bus registrations.
- It's still a question of where Atspi.init() should be called.
- Atspi event registration should happen in the constructor in the non-singleton case (see 1).
- The try/catch statements can be safely removed.
- There is no use case for distinguishing between 'object:state-changed:focus' and 'object:state-changed:select'.
- Joseph has tried to keep up with Magdalen's work, but has found little time to do it this week.
- But, he has at least responded to her emails.
- Magdalen has updated the tracker.
- Magdalen is working on the magnifier.
- Magdalen has been updating Joseph via email about changes and asking questions about it that way too.
- Magdalen missed an email about the meeting for OPW but should go to the next one (no date yet).
- Magdalen will be doing a lightening talk on the project for GUADEC.
- Magdalen needs to hand in the slides by 29th July.
- ACTION: Magdalen is going to start working on the lightening talk.
- Regarding GSoC evaluations, the mentors are waiting for questions/form to be sent to the group.

- July 29 mentors and Magdalen can begin submitting mid-term evaluations.
- The deadline to hand in the evaluations is 2nd Aug.
W3C Update
- No news.
- The goal to publish a last call draft of the ARIA User Agent Implemenation Guide by Jul 29 is still on the table.
- Testing is somewhat of a hindrance, in that it feeds back into better woring of the Guide, and testing is not complete.
- We'll see if the deadline can be met.
- The deadline is to have all the edits to the guide committed by July 29 so that a last call draft can be published in August.
Marketing
- Juanjo received a reply from Adam Williamson from Fedora about the a11y BoF in GUADEC. He likes the idea, but nothing concrete yet.

Action Items
- Magdalen:

Ongoing / Rolled-Over
- Joanie:
- Email Mark Sadecki about our team meetings and invite him to join us to provide W3C updates.
- Do a full evaluation of the accessibility breakage in Evolution 3.6 and file bugs accordingly.
- Juanjo:
- Take a look at the current a11y material in order to make an action plan.
- Piñeiro:
- Ping mousetweaks maintainers in relation with their plans towards Wayland.
- Send a email to accessibility-dev, just in case the Wayland Accessibility section needs to be filled.
- Compose a "what accessibility needs from Wayland, how to use it" email, ask for review, send to the Wayland Developer's list.
- Ping GNOME designers, so hopefully some default keybinding will be available for 3.8.
- Create some usability-configurability related bugs, using Bryen's mail as a starting point.
Update the AtkObject:children-changed documentation, as this could be also used on ATK implementors.
